Steatite C221 is widely used for insulation in the electrical and electronic industries. It is a lower cost material than alumina, but has excellent resistance characteristics (which can be maintained at high temperatures) and moderate mechanical strength.

 

The low firing shrinkage of this ceramic allows us to produce parts with precise tolerances. The use of cost-effective production techniques can achieve small sizes and high-precision shapes, which makes Steatite Ceramic ideal for mass production of insulating components.

 

Because of its excellent dielectric properties, talc has been used in large electrical systems and electronic/household equipment for many years. It has high volume resistivity and high dielectric strength, so it is very suitable for the production of electrical insulation components.

 

Steatite C221 is a low-cost material with high resistance at high temperature, good mechanical strength and extremely low dielectric loss factor. These characteristics make it very suitable for high frequency, low loss and high voltage insulation. In addition, talc is an excellent material for electrical engineering because it can be easily molded and sintered into various forms, such as gaskets, bushings, resistance forms, voids and beads.
